Kabla ya uhuru wa nchi yetu nilifanya uchimbuzi na Mr. Nimrud Cheaty, Mwingereza. Kwa hivyo tulichimbua magofu ya Kaole, Tongoni Tanga, Kiwa Kisiwani. Wakati niko Kilwa Kisiwani 59 na Dr. Leakey alienda Olduvai Gorge. Historia ina umuhimu wake: kwanza inaonyesha tulikotoka wapi tulipo wapi na tunapoendelea wapi. Before independence of our country I worked on excavations with Mr. Nimrud Cheaty, an Englishman. We then excavated the Kaole Ruins, Tongoni Tanga, Kilwa Kisiwani. While I was in Kilwa Kisiwani in 1959, Dr. Leakey went to Olduvai Gorge. History is important: it shows us first where we come from, where we are and where we are going to. Therefore this history should not be forgotten, as many young people of today don't know it anymore.
